The 3CX iOS App official release is now ready to be downloaded via the App Store. Fast chat reply offers a quick way to respond to and deal with chat messages. The update also provides support for local Emergency numbers (eg. Ambulance, Police, Fire) in accordance with the Ray Baum Act.

Reply to chat from locked screen

Attend to chat messages without having to unlock the device. By long pressing the chat notification, you will be prompted to either “Reply” to the chat or “Mark as Read”.

Offloading Emergency Numbers to the native GSM dialer

The Ray Baum Act and Kari’s Law requires direct dialing of local emergency numbers (e.g. 911,112 & 999) enabling the caller to dial without having to add a prefix or access code. The 3CX app will recognize when an emergency number is dialed and “offloads” the call to the native GSM dialer instead.

To note: Emergency Numbers are provided based on the GSM carrier country on your device. For this feature to work, your device needs to have a SIM card installed.

Upgrade your PBX to V18 by 1st May 2022

3CX V18 has been out for a while, offering a better mobile experience, in terms of audio, reconnection functionality and reliable call notifications. After 1st May 2022, the 3CX App for iOS will no longer connect to Version 16. Upgrade your PBX today to the latest version.

• Fixed scheduling a conference with no subject title
• Fixed first/last name order not being respected in missed call/chat notifications
• Fixed ‘Close’ button duplicating ‘Back’ button in some views
