The most recent release of the 3CX Android app is available now on the Google Play Store. It includes new features for contact matching, a new notification screen that provides more information on the call, and now includes support for H264 devices!
The new update features H264 codec support for desk phones and doorbells that have the H264 codec. The call will come as a normal 3CX call with the option to turn the call into a video call. Android users can also open the door connected to the door phone by entering the pre-defined code set in the door phone.
CRM contacts can be searched without having the contact first synchronized in the company phone book. You can search for a contact by name, email or phone number. The 3CX Android app will return contact information from both the company phone book and the CRM integration that match the search criteria. These CRM lookup results are available when:
The automatic lookup for CRM matches is also performed when receiving an incoming call. If you receive a call that is not registered in your phone book, the 3CX Android mobile app will try to perform a contact lookup in the CRM integration software. If it is able to find a match, it will display the contact information.
Based on options set in the management console, the full screen incoming call notification will include more useful information to you to help identify the caller.
